		<description>If you look into the the history of the lab it was a large breed  also known as the saintjohns dog it was the english breeders that breed for the smaller size upto the 1950,s it was not uncomon for hunting labs to be 100 lbs  now we have silver labs that make you wonder whats been crossed into them and show dogs are 55 to 70 lbs I have hunted over them for 40+ years .</description>

		<description>My 6 month old male lab weighs approximately 55 lbs.  He is not overweight.  His mom weighed 100-105 lbs., I believe she was overweight.  His father weighed around 60 lbs.  How much more is my lab likely to grow.  A sixty pounder, 70?
