My pure bred Yellow Lab was the biggest of the litter of 6. He has a big block head, is the height of an St Bernard, weighs 150pnds and is 13 years of age. He doesnt look a day past 5 years. He's beautiful, healthy and extremely smart.
I had a gorgeous English red fox tail Yellow Lab who passed away last monday at the age of nine, she was lean, and athletic, loved playing fetch until she would pass out if we let her. I tried breeding her at the age of four, she had a pseudo pregnancy, meaning psychological. We never bred her again. My biggest mistake was not having her spayed. She only came into heat every 10 months, and they were light. It wasnt that much of a bother or mess, my homes floors are covered in tile. I worried that the surgery would cause her to much discomfort at her age. What I did not know was 23% of intact female dogs can contract PYOMETRA. My beautiful, lovely perfect in every way dog had to be euthanized last monday. Ive talked to so many people, no one had ever heard of PYOMETRA. I feel like tacking a sign on every post in my town warning people of the dangers of not spaying their pet.My pets are healthy because they live indoors. My big male dog is a freak of nature. He enjoys apples, pomegranate seeds, fava beans, carrots. His longevity is due to his taste palate.

We have a 17 week old Chocolate male Lab his current weight is 52 pound. He has been such a pleasure to train and live with he let's you know if he needs out water or just about anything he is the smartest dog that I have ever owned. He has won us over completely and is laying between us in our bed right now. Well enough fonight my biggest question is what can I expect for an average size when our little man is grown since he is already at 52 lbs. At 17 weeks.
Thank in advance for any comments or help.

It would have to cost less than $500, be yellow, female and of small build...
If u could post any good breeders that would be of great use

I have a 3 month old yellow male lab name SAM. He is really very cute; not from a high breed family but very active and lovable. Do have dogs in your life.. they are fabulous.
